In 1968, the crew of Apollo 8 was the first to see the dark side of the Moon, and this watch was made to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Under the pierced face, it is the iconic Cal. 1861. Being my first B1 size design, it is one of my most time-consuming drawings and of the most memorable as well.
