"DREAM WATCH" project

In the May of 2023, I was in Switzerland at the auction by Christie's. During this trip I was able to see a Daytona "Big Red" 6265 in person. It was a huge impact on me. There, I decided to make a drawing based on this amazing watch. It is my "DREAM WATCH" project, because it is far out of my budget and the rarity of these vintage Daytona watches is insane. But I was able to make a drawing of it, during this process I could explore the even the tinyest details of the case and the dial. It is my Daytona Edition II. Project because it is very similar to my first 6263 drawing which I drew in 2021. The racing connection of the piece is valid. These instruments were used on the racetrack by many drivers. This is why I choose the racing flag to highlight the watch itself. 

It was a really long procedure but I loved every minute of it.
