Explorer

The Explorer, as the name suggests, is associated with discovery and mountaineering. My choice was the 1016 Explorer, one of the most iconic versions, which was available between 1963 and 1989.  What caught me is the simplicity and the clean lines of this piece. The snow-capped peak displayed on the face is a hint at both the essence and the past of the watch.
